PSG are gearing up for their tenth Ligue 1 game of the season when they visit Lorient. Les Parisiens returned to winning ways on the weekend when they beat Brest 0-3 courtesy of goals from Achraf Hakimi (brace) and Desire Doue. They were extremely familiar with Brest last season as they played them twice in the league and twice in the Champions League. The win puts Luis Enrique's side back at the top of the Ligue 1 after Marseille lost during the weekend.

The French champions need to win there next two games to give them momentum going into a clash against an in-form Bayern side. They are only a point ahead of second placed Lens who should not be taken for granted after winning against Marseille on the weekend. Thus far this campaign they are the surprise package of the Ligue 1 season as not many people would have predicted that they would be so high up in the table at this stage of the season.

Achraf Hakimi has been given a rest for the mid week game against Lorient which could result in Warren Zaire Emery playing as a right-back again. Joao Neves (thigh) and Fabian Ruiz (groin) are close to returning from their respective injuries and may feature from the bench.
