After a historical 2024-2025 campaign, Paris Saint-Germain is set to open their FIFA Club World Cup tournament against Atlético Madrid in approximately one week, on June 15 in the United States. However, many of their players are on international duties in the last international window of the season.

Following France's nine-goal thriller loss at the hands of Spain Thurday evening, Ousmane Dembélé (quadriceps) and Bradley Barcola (knee ) left the national squad ahead of their third-place game against Germany after sustaining injuries during the game.
Dembélé who started the game against La Roja was substituted by Randal Kolo Muani following his injury, the Champions League Player of the Season is now set to be sidelined and will miss the beginning of the Club World Cup. Many reports suggest that the 27-year-old will miss the first two games of the competition while his participation to the final group game is in doubt.
After his release from the national squad, the French Football Federation released a statement on the injuries of Barcola and Dembélé: "Following Thursday's match against Spain, during which he was substituted due to pain in his left quadriceps, Ousmane Dembélé (main photo) underwent medical tests on Friday, June 6. These tests revealed an injury. For his part, Bradley Barcola sustained a knock to his right knee and is not fit to play on Sunday.
Didier Deschamps, the national team manager, has confirmed their withdrawal. Ousmane Dembélé and Bradley Barcola have been released back to their club. They will not be replaced for Sunday’s match against Germany, which is for third place in the 2025 UEFA Nations League."
According to RMC's Fabrice Hawkins, Randal Kolo Muani's loan at Juventus is extended allowing him to feature in the FIFA Club World Cup with the Italian club led by Igor Tudor after both sides reached an agreement.
Furthermore, the 26-year-old forward who contributed for eight goals and two assists in 18 games during his loan spell is not expected to return to the European champions this summer, despite his contract running until 2028.
Many clubs are said to be interested by the versatile forward while Juventus remain keen to keep the player in their squad next season, whith a final decision set to be taken after the competition.
