1) Edinson Cavani

Career at Napoli

  • Cavani joined Napoli in 2010 from Palermo and quickly became one of Serie A’s top strikers. During his time at Napoli, Cavani won the Coppa Italia in 2012 and was the Serie A top scorer in the 2012-13 season. He scored 104 goals in 138 appearances for the club.

Career at PSG

  • Cavani moved to PSG in 2013 for a then-club-record fee of €64 million in the summer transfer window. It was a significant jump moving to a PSG team which was in the midst of an emerging era of dominance. Cavani debuted for PSG on 9 August, coming on as a 72nd-minute substitute for Lavezzi (the very next name in our list).

  • He then became PSG’s all-time top scorer (until Kylian Mbappé surpassed him). Over his seven seasons at PSG, Cavani won numerous Ligue 1 titles and domestic cups. He also played a crucial role in PSG's 2019-2020 UEFA Champions League run to the final.

Legacy

  • Cavani is remembered as one of PSG’s greatest strikers not many can surpass his legacy at Paris, he also left a big impact at Napoli by scoring numerous hat-tricks and crucial goals.
