PSG has a Club World Cup final against Enzo Maresca's Chelsea. The French champions will want to win to prove that they are the best team in the world. Les Parisiens should not take their opponents lightly, as they have won finals as underdogs.
The one that comes to mind is the 2012 final against Bayern Munich, as the German giants were heavily favoured to win at home. The West London side has nothing to lose as they didn't expect to get this far in the tournament. These two sides have a history in the Champions League dating back to 2014.
The last time they played in 2016, PSG won 1-2 at Stamford Bridge and won the last 16 tie 4-2 on aggregate. These two sides also met in the 14/15 and 13/14 seasons. Those games don't mean much now, as both sides have changed dramatically since then.
If Maresca's side wins, they will enter next season extremely confident, having beaten the European champions. Luis Enrique's side should not be complacent, as this tournament has been marked by numerous shock results. One of which has to be Fluminense beating Inter Milan in the last 16 stage. On that occasion, the Brazilian side wanted it more than the Champions League finalists, as they don't get to face opposition of this caliber every week.
