PSG are preparing for the biggest game of their season when they travel to Bavaria to play Bayern Munich on Wednesday. They ran out 5-4 winners in the first-leg at the Parc des Princes. Luis Enrique's men were 3-2 up at the end of the first half before extending the lead to 5-2 with just over 30 minutes left of the second half. The German giants showed great character to make it 5-4 with just over 20 minutes left, but couldn't find an equaliser.
The first leg will be remembered as a very open game in which the attackers thrived, and the defenders underwhelmed. This is the most important game of the season, as if they progress against Vincent Kompany's side, they will be favourites in the final against Atletico Madrid or Arsenal.
Both sides played on the weekend, albeit with weakened teams. The French champions drew 2-2 at home against Lorient. This result was not the end of the world as Lens dropped points away to Nice. Numerous players, such as Marquinhos, Ousmane Dembélé, and Khvicha, did not start the game on the weekend. The Bavarians also dropped points on the weekend with a 3-3 draw at home to relegation-threatened Heidenheim. Star players such as Michael Olise, Harry Kane, Dayot Upamecano, and Luis Diaz did not start, as the midweek game was a priority.

PSG will have a relatively strong side for the second leg at the Allianz Arena, as the only major injury blow is Achraf Hakimi (hamstring).
Paris Saint Germain possible starting lineup:
Safonov; Zaire-Emery, Marquinhos, Pacho, Mendes; Ruiz, Vitinha, Neves; Doué, Dembélé, Kvaratskhelia.
Bayern Munich team news:
Vincent Kompany's side came out of Saturday's game unscathed. The only absentees for Wednesday were those who were injured before the weekend: Lennart Karl (torn thigh muscle) is questionable, while Serge Gnabry (thigh) and Raphael Guerreiro (hamstring) are on the treatment table and wouldn't have started on Wednesday.
Bayern Munich possible starting lineup:
Neuer; Stanisic, Upamecano, Tah, Davies; Kimmich, Pavlovic; Olise, Musiala, Diaz; Kane.
Prediction: Bayern Munich 2-2 PSG
It is diffcult to look past a highscoring draw in the second leg at the Allianz Arena as both sides are capable of finding the back of the net. The team that defends better at the Allianz will have of a better chance of progress to the final.
